  • Over one million Jews were murdered in the Auschwitz complex,

  •  it was where the largest amount of Jews were murdered.

  • Auschwitz complex included three large camps Auschwitz, Birkenau and Monowitz.

  • 1.5 million  Jewish children died Between 1933 and 1945, more than 11 million men, women, and children were murdered in the Holocaust.

  • The Holocaust is said to have  began in January 1933 when Hitler came to power but actually began on september 1st 1939 as the breakout of worldwar II, it technically ended on May 8, 1945 when America dropped the atom bomb on Japan.

  • The majority of people who were deported to labor and death camps were transported in cattle wagons

  •  

  • The wagons did not have water, food, a toilet, or ventilation.

  •  

  • The longest transport of the war took 18 days.
