Holocaust 4 Kidz

 

 

The Holocaust was a horrible and devastating time for most people around the world but it was the hardest for the Jews. I even came to someone asked you why this happened to you and the Jew woud reply becuase i was born Jewish.  During the Holocaust there were 11 million people were killed and 6 million of them were Jews. I know your probably thinking thats not even half why does everyone go on about the Jews when they talk about the holocaust but it was different. The Jews were a much smaller nation and community compared to all the other religons. The Holocaust killed 67% of the Jews population world wide. 1.5 million of the Jews were children. 

 

 A lot of the Jews living in different parts of Europe realised what was happening and tried to get out of the contenet. The others didnt have enought time so they had to hide. Hiding a child was much less difficult than hiding an adult. Unlike adults, children were not required to carry any forms of identification. In addition, they could easily blend in with the groups of non-Jewish children who became orphans of war. In most cases, arrangements to hide these children were made through personal contacts. 

 

The Jews were in real danger because there was an entire army going after one or the smallest religons at the time. It was unlucky that so many Jews died but at least some remained alive so the Jewish religion could continue.
