Holocaust 4 Kidz

 

The Nazis started by making life very difficult for Jews in Germany. They made all Jews wear yellow stars to show that they were Jewish and that way they could be easily spotted. Then any other people in the streets would treat them badly and sometimes didn't sell things to them when they had the correct amount of money. Jews didn't do anything but people wanted to just be rude and to treat Jews unfairly for amusement. It was hard to find shops that would sell them food and clothes so a lot of the Jews left and went to different parts of Europe depending on where they came from. The Nazis then invaded Poland and started taking Jews on trucks and then to Ghettos and Concentration camps. If any Jews tried to stand up against the Nazis and Adolf Hitler they would get shot, or even be hurt badly before they get shot or struggle to death due to Nazis making them suffer. Life became hard for everyone not only the Jews. There was shooting happening all the time and even just one mistake could get you killed. 

 

The Nazis started conquering more and more land all over Europe. For Jews it was very hard not to be in that land. Some Jews hid but they knew if they were caught they would get a severe penalty and might even get killed. Hitler's whole plan of the Holocaust was to get rid of all the Jews and dimolish them worldwide and that was a target of 11 million. He didnt succeed but he killed 67% of the population. So many Jewish communities were destroyed because of one man who came to power.

 

This man gained an army of people who were scared to suffer and totally wiped out jewish people for being who they are and who they were born to be. That army made people feel embarrassed and die because of who they were. They made people pretend to be people they aren't to survive and that is truly heartbreaking and should never ever hapen again.
